Berry Breakfast Crumble
Original Recipe
Instructions
- Combine in a baking dish:
- 12 oz frozen berries
- 1 tbsp flour
- Mix in a bowl:
- 1 mashed ripe banana
- 1 cup oatmeal (old fashioned or quick cooking)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup almond butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup or date syrup
- 1-2 handfuls chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- Layer the cinnamon oat mix on the berry mix in the baking dish, coating evenly.
- Bake for 45 minutes (or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges) at 375 degrees.
Notes
- Original recipe calls for just blueberries, I found that the berry mix is also good!
- Does NOT work with Bob Red Mill's 7 Cereal mix!!
- Also subbing nutmeg for cinammon is a bad idea lol
